I disagree, if people can get hundreds of ecto then they should have the right to have the best looking and rarest items. Rest of us can have nice stats but not the rarest items, get over it.

The trader reset was a price reset around 2 years ago probably. It made ectos cost a few hundred gold to buy. Thus, everybody bought the stock dry, held onto them for a while, and made ~20x profit from every ecto that they bought by selling to the gauged players.

And the chest was a big enough probelm that it had to be removed.

And duping was "fixed" as in, closed, but there are still tons of duped armbraces and whatnot floating around the economy driving prices up even more.

I've gotten nothing really valuable from the chest (couple of elite tomes) but it's a good thing that they're allowing more people to get the rare skins.

meh, i dunno, i like items, but ya, these uber rare items are kinda rediculous considering they were suppose to be for hardcore pvers...

Direct me to where it is written that these "uber rare" items are only intended for hardcore pvers.

The fact they are rare, so only a small amount of people can have it.

Now since giving them randomly is not a good choice only the people who have gold can and is likely a hardcore will have more money then a normal.

if they where ment for everone anet would have increased their drop to x100

You fail to realise that the rarity of the items are more or less still kept the same as the chances of getting a perfect weapon from the chest are very very slim. Not to mention the work involved getting the faction for the key for the chest in the first place.

Thus only a small amount of people, as you stated will be lucky enough to obtain them.

i wasnt speaking about the zaishen chest, i know it drop useless stuff, yesterday i used about 15 key for 2 gold item and 13 useless stuff.

you asked where was written certain item are for hardcore, i replied it was because they are rare.

I think the economy is just fine.

Super rich players can get their pandas, r7, unconditionals...
Moderately rich players can get their Crys, Eternals, Stygians...
Poor players can finally get their Elementals, Deads, Sephis...
